What is a Custom Order?

A custom order at Wakuma is a unique, personalized service that allows you to bring your plushie dreams to life. Whether you have a specific design, color, size, or theme in mind, our team is ready to create a one-of-a-kind plushie that meets your exact specifications.

How Does Custom Order Work?

Creating your dream plushie with us is a collaborative and exciting process. Here's how it works:

  1. Initial Contact: Reach out to us through email, twitter or the request form below to discuss your desired plushie design, size, material and the number of units you'd like to order. In this phase, we will discuss estimated total final cost as well.

  2. Prototype Payment: Once we agree on the design details and process your payment, we will begin prototyping the first sample.

  3. Prototype Development & Review: We will start working on your plushie prototype with our seasoned designers and plushie tailors. This process usually takes roughly 3-5 weeks depending on the complexity of the design. We will do our best to infuse your idea with Wakuma's brand standards of making high quality, cute, and huggable buddies!

  4. Final Payment: Once prototype is ready, you will need to provide the payment for your order plus an estimated shipping deposit.

  5. Manufacturing Begins: We start the manufacturing process, which typically takes about 3-5 weeks. Once your entire order are ready, they will be shipped out to you! (extra shipping deposit will be refunded)

Pricing Estimation

The starting price for prototyping is $295 USD. However, the final cost may vary depending on the complexity of the design and size. The manufacturing costs is separate from this step. We will provide a detailed price estimate after we discuss and understand your specific needs.

Refund Policy

Please note that due to the bespoke nature of these custom orders, no refunds will be provided once the prototyping process has begun. We work closely with our customers during the prototype development phase to ensure that the final product aligns with their expectations. We appreciate your understanding that these unique creations involve significant time and resources to bring to life.
